I serve the Charlottesville and Albemarle County areas of Virginia doing small construction and handyman projects.

Until about 5 years ago, I was the produce manager at a big local food co-op and grocery store in Frederick, Maryland. Prior to that I worked in HVAC and property management.

Those experiences taught me a lot and lead me to make the leap to doing my own thing and following my joy. I have always loved building thing, understanding how they work, and creating and fixing spaces and things that make people happy.

My previous work had me fully engaged in logistics and planning to keep the store stocked in large quantities of produce coming from all over the state and country. And cost effectiveness was, of course, pivotal even for a community cooperative. Making sure all the pieces fit together, at the right time, and for the right price in that job isn’t that different from coordinating a building project from start to finish. Plus now I also get the fun of being a maker!

I love working with my clients and their ideas, brainstorming with them, and figuring out how to make their vision happen in a cost effective, sustainable, and beautiful way.
